The Experience

Photography with me is an adventure.

It's more than collecting pretty photos. It's a witnessing. A holding.

It's an immersive experience meant to leave you with memories. To honor your journey. To preserve whatever threshold you are moving through.

Meeting in the wild, we lean into your identity, your connection, your essence.

We tell your story.

Typically we will start with a grounding exercise or I allow you space to explore and acclimate, choosing a spot that speaks to you. Instead of a list of poses, we flow intuitively through moments and I capture them as they unfold. On occasion, I will offer a prompt or practice to help you embody a version of yourself, or to help encourage a deeper connection to the space, people, or objects around you.

Before we even start shooting, I take a moment to get to know your vision, intentionally. I curate a personalized guide that includes all that you will need to know to be ready for our time together.

My goal is to create a safe space for you, and your loved ones. When our time is complete, I hope to leave with a deeper connection to you.

I don't want to just to be your photographer, I want to be your quiet archivist. Trusted with some of the most tender and transformative moments.

Ashlie is such a personable and passionate person. In her sessions you feel seen, heard, and comfortable! She is a great host for boundaries and vulnerabilities. The way she can capture certain moments, is still mind boggling!
